I lost my Queen,
The sweetest person I've ever met.
15 years of love.
If some people don't understand the pain of losing them 🐾, it's because they never had the love of a Queen.
The sweetest look, the softest fur, the paws that hugged me and creased my back like someone who doesn't want to leave.
She spoke with her eyes and charmed everyone she met.
She shook so much as she walked that if she were human, she'd be vain.
He picked up cookies like nobody's business.
He was a record holder for eating Maria cookies.
The big sofa was hers.
He helped children lose their fear of dogs.
He went canoeing.
I loved driving.
And if the trip was to the Alentejo or the Algarve, even better.
I really liked taking a bath.
Her tail was hitting the walls of the house all the time.
It was a real shadow behind us.
At lunch/dinner time, I was craving food in no time.
I loved children.
He used to make a fool of the lizards in the garden and would wait for them for hours.
I loved laying my head on the pillows and climbing on the beds.
I let him do everything.
I was running like crazy.
It was the best snuggle.
Did I mention that I give the best hugs?
And that's how I imagine myself forever with you, in a long, tight embrace my love ❤️
