From the first day I welcomed you into our home, I knew I had found a very special kitten, a sweetheart, a blessing from God, you were my joy in life, always present and loving. You never learned to speak, but the sounds you made were sincere and intense and in your mouth, in your gaze, there was never a hint of lies, dissimulation or falsehood.
You've always been much more than just a pet to me, and now that your life has been taken from you, your little eyes closed forever, a part of me is gone too...
I mourn for you, and the longing that remains and the sadness I feel will be eternal and incurable. You were my best friend who, in the silence, knew how to be there and support me without ever complaining or demanding anything in return.
