My sweet Mimi.....hat can I say about 19 years of so many memories? At these times there are so many words, so many thoughts, but nothing is formed because the tears won't let them, the heart won't allow them.
You've shown me so much, you've taught me so much, but you haven't told me how to say goodbye.
As much as I knew this day would come, I wasn't and am not prepared for the farewell.
Yes, I remember as if it were today the day I saw you being snatched away by someone with no soul, but who left me one of the best gifts I've ever had.
I remember that day with those sweet eyes as if they had known me for a long time. Your sweetness has always been a part of you, the genuine protection you've always given your siblings, your voracious appetite, your way of moving around, all so you.......
The look on your face on your last visit to the vet...... put your head on my arm, I'll never forget that look, I felt you say goodbye but I didn't want to believe it. I clung to the idea that you would get over it.......... can't believe you're gone.
That look in your eyes always spoke volumes, you were someone I could always count on at any time. Very faithful and dedicated, where there was never any room for loneliness.
My dear, sweet Mimi has passed away and my heart is in mourning. I only have to say thank you for the eternal wonderful memories she left me, a blessing we had.......but you took part of me with you.
