You came into my life as a baby, chubby, furry and full of light. From the very first moment, my heart expanded - and I've never been the same. You were my friend, my comfort, my silent support in difficult times, and my noisy joy in good times.<\/p>\n
We've been together on so many paths. When we moved country, you accompanied each new phase with the joy of someone who just wants to be together. In each new house, it was you who gave the place meaning. And on every walk - even on the days when I was tired - it was the two of us, experiencing something unique, ours. It was with you that I got to know and explore many new places. Every street, every corner, bore your cheerful and curious imprint.<\/p>\n
You loved people, you loved being around people, you loved living. You couldn't see someone looking at you and you wanted affection - and you gave everything you had in return: affection, joy, presence. I was so proud to see you interact with anyone who crossed your path. When I saw that you had brought a smile to someone's face, my heart filled up. You spread joy wherever you went, and that made me so happy. You were special not just to me, but to anyone who was lucky enough to meet you, even for a moment.<\/p>\n
Even your crazy antics, like trying to eat paper or anything white in the street, made me laugh. You were unique, and it was impossible not to fall in love with you.<\/p>\n
I miss our moments, exchanging glances, being able to hug you, seeing you happy, your way of saying \"I'm here\".<\/p>\n
Today, the emptiness is enormous because the love that existed between us is gone too.<\/p>\n
But what remains is greater than the absence: what remains is the immense, eternal love that lives on in me.<\/p>\n
